South Hadley Fire District No. 2 is an independent regional quasi municipal government operating within the towns of South Hadley and Granby Massachusetts.

Fire District 2 has three distinct departments:

District Government facilitates and oversees district meetings, elections, and financial matters.

The Water Department ensures the district’s water supply by monitoring water quality and maintaining the distribution infrastructure.

The Fire Department provides Fire Protection and Emergency Medical Services to all individuals within the District as well as surrounding areas via mutual aid.

Sandra Selkirk has compiled a wonderful summary of all available South Hadley Fire District No. 2 Annual Reports. Unfortunately, we are missing the years 1909 through 1930, 1973 and 1982. If anyone has knowledge of a collection of old District 2 Annual Reports, perhaps gathering dust in someone's attic, we would really appreciate a call at (413) 534-5748.

Our sincerest thanks to Sandy for coming up with the summary idea and following it through to fruition.
